Abhi Ganugapati is a Director at Adaptus, specialising in strategy, sustainability, and risk management. With degrees in engineering, management, and a graduate certificate in risk management, his focus is on delivering impactful outcomes and building organisational resilience with commercial rigour. He leverages his technical and interpersonal skills to engage directly with senior business leaders, providing strategic advice, and creating value that drives a commitment to action.
Throughout his career, Abhi has worked for and advised ASX200 companies and government departments through in-house and consulting engagements. Prior to joining Adaptus in mid-2022, he led the Risk and Assurance practice across Victoria and NSW for a major consulting firm.
He was recently recognised by the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) as ‘Risk Consultant of the Year’ (2024). The professional body specifically noted his ability to effectively engage with senior executives and government departments across industries, successfully translating complex climate risk concepts into actionable strategies.
