Nikala is a Manager at Adaptus with diverse industry experience delivering climate and sustainability work for clients across the energy, resources, and environmental sectors. She specialises in climate resilience and decarbonisation.
Nikala has delivered and led client engagements across Australia, supporting listed companies, renewable energy generators, natural resource managers and not-for-profit organisations to assess climate-related risks, model emissions reduction pathways, design transition strategies and enhance organisational resilience. Her project experience spans emissions inventory development, scenario analysis, carbon accounting and climate disclosure readiness.
Recently, Nikala has supported energy clients in the development of Climate Transition Action Plans in alignment with the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB)’s S2 climate disclosure requirements. This included verification of Scope 1 and 2 emissions under NGERS, alignment with ASAE 3410 and ASSA 5000 assurance standards, and the integration of transition and physical climate risk planning.
Nikala holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Business Management (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.
